The western part of Messinia includes the entire western end ‘’leg’’ of the Peloponnese from Messina to Kyparissia.

Here, we encounter a slightly different Messinia from that of the eastern part. The landscape is a bit calmer and the cities a bit more modern. Par’ all this, in this part of Messinia we find many areas with impressive ancient monuments such as Messini, Pylos and Kyparissia.

Of course, there are also impressive beaches such as the famous Voidokoilia, Peroulia beach, Finikounda, the wonderful beach of Methoni, the coast of Marathopoli, Stomio and many more.

The area includes many large or smaller towns and villages and in general can offer all the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable permanent or country living.
