Neohori is located three kilometers from the intersection of the Kalamata provincial road – Areopolis at the height of the Stupa. It is one of the new settlements of Mani that was created at the end of the 17th century (around 1680).

Its population amounts to approximately 320 permanent residents and the residents are mainly engaged in olive cultivation and tourism exploitation, such as accommodation rentals, restaurants, taverns and entertainment centers.

The village is built amphitheatrically on a hill, with a breathtaking view, between olive groves and oak trees. It is located a short distance from Stoupa and has an abundance of mostly stone-built villas.

In just a few minutes the visitor can find himself at the famous beaches of Stoupa and Kalogria which are organized, with fine sand, ideal for moments of relaxation as well as the well-known >Pantazi beach in the village of Agios Nikolaos.

The area is of great tourist interest and its population increases significantly during the summer months. And here the visitor has the opportunity to indulge in walks, climbing and cycling between steep slopes and imposing canyons.
